Saturday, March 15, 2025

At ITB Berlin 2025, the world’s leading travel trade show, Hyatt Hotels showcased their commitment to luxury, innovation, and sustainability. Engaging with industry professionals, Hyatt emphasized its diverse portfolio, including ten properties in Dubai, reflecting a strong presence in the German and European markets.

Insights from Hyatt’s Hospitality Leaders

Nour K. Zayati, Director of Sales at Grand Hyatt Dubai, and Maria Diaconu from Andaz Dubai The Palm, shared their perspectives on the evolving travel landscape during the event.

Expanding Hyatt’s Footprint in Dubai

Grand Hyatt Dubai, a landmark since 2003, offers 710 rooms and over 12 dining outlets, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Zayati revealed plans for a unique water park set to launch in summer 2025, aiming to redefine urban family entertainment in Dubai.

Andaz Dubai The Palm, located on Palm Jumeirah, provides an intimate, personalized stay blending beachside luxury with vibrant urban culture. Diaconu highlighted the hotel’s high-touch service, where staff remember guests’ names and preferences, enhancing the hospitality experience.

Technology Transforming the Guest Experience

Hyatt embraces digital transformation to enhance guest convenience. Initiatives include online check-ins, digital concierge services, and seamless digital interactions, all while maintaining the personal touch integral to hospitality.

Catering to Millennial Travelers

Recognizing the evolving preferences of millennial travelers, Hyatt focuses on offering personalized services and seamless technology. This demographic values experiences over possessions, prompting Hyatt to adapt continually to meet these expectations.

Sustainability at the Core

Hyatt Hotels in Dubai are setting industry benchmarks in sustainability. Grand Hyatt Dubai leads as the first Hyatt property to go fully paperless, eliminating printed materials in both front and back-office operations. The hotel is also on track to become completely plastic-free by 2025, eliminating single-use plastics across all tourism operations. Waste management and responsible sourcing in restaurants remain key focus areas.

The Future of Hyatt in Dubai

With a growing portfolio, strong sustainability goals, and a commitment to guest-centric innovation, Hyatt Hotels in Dubai are redefining modern hospitality. They look forward to welcoming global travelers with new experiences, from luxury city stays to beachfront escapes, all while championing sustainability and cutting-edge guest experiences.
